If the device is showing that the headphone pin is inserted into the headphone jack while it is not; it means there are dust particles or some sort of waste frozen in it. This could be the reason for the problem and to resolve it, clean the headphone jack by utilizing the needle.

For iPhone

Step 1: Navigate to the settings and then tap on the “General” option:

Solution 7: Factory Reset the Device

This process will remove all the data and information from the device. So make a backup copy of the data before doing this process. The steps to factory reset both Android and iPhone device is stated below:

For Android

Step 1: Launch the settings and then select the “About Phone” option:

Step 2: Tap on the “Factory reset” option and then tap on the “erase all date” option:

For iPhone

Step 1: Open the device settings and then tap on the “General” option.

Step 2: Hit the “reset” option and then select the “Erase all content and settings” option:

Solution 8: Take the Device to the Repair Shop/Store

If all the above solutions do not solve the issue then the earpiece is damaged and broken. To resolve this issue, simply take the device to a nearby repair shop.
