Fix 2: Restart the Cell Phone

To restart the cell phone, let’s follow the below-stated steps:

For Home Buttons iPhones:

Step 1: Hold the Power key for 2 to 3 seconds. It will display a slider on the device screen.

Step 2: Swipe that slidder and then wait for at least 30 seconds.

Step 3: Hold the Power Key until the mobile phone logo displays on the screen.

Without Home Button iPhones:

Step 1: Hold the power key with the volume down key simultaneously. It shows a slider on the phone screen.

Step 2: Further, do the same steps as mentioned above.

Fix 3: Set the Background App Refresh Feature on WiFi & Cellular

The background app refresh feature will refresh the corrupted data in the background to run the application smoothly. To set this feature on WiFi & Cellular: let’s go through the given steps:

Step 1: Open the device settings and hit the “General” tab:

Step 2: Select the “Background App Refresh” option and select the “Wi-Fi & Cellular Data”  it:

These steps will enable the background app refresh feature on the iPhone.

Fix 4: Update the Google App from App Store 

To update the Google app from the app store:

Step 1: Launch the App Store and select the “Profile” icon.

Step 2: Here, check for the pending updates and if Google is in the pending update list, then select the “Update” option:

These steps will update the Google app from the app store and rectify this error.

Fix 5: Clear the App Cache Data of the Google 

To clear the app cache data of Google, we have to follow the below-described steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Google Chrome app on the iPhone device. 

Step 2: Tap on the “Ellipse” icon and choose the “History” option:

Step 3: Tap on the “Clear Browsing Data” option and then check mark the “Cookies, Images and Files” option:

Fix 6: Change DNS Settings on the iPhone Device

The DNS is the database that is used by the server to store the Internet data and it can be done with the help of the ISP(Internet Service Provider). Sometimes, the DNS failed to gather data which causes this issue. To resolve this issue, simply change the DNS service to another DNS service, such as Open DNS.

Fix 7: Reinstall the Google App from the App Store

To reinstall the Google app from the App Store:

Step 1: Delete the Google App from the App Store, long-press the app icon, and then select the “Uninstall” option.

Fix 8: Report the Problem to the Google

If the above-stated fixes do not fix this problem, then report the issue to Google, to complete this process, follow the below-listed procedure:

Step 1: Open the Google Chrome app and tap on the “Elipse” icon.

Step 2: Select the “Report an Issue” option and type the issue that we are facing on the Google app:
