The audio message is also known as the voice text. Some audio messages are very important and we have to save them on the phone. In the earlier iOS 12, we can save the audio messages and then we can locate them on the Video Memos app, but, after the iOS update, we are unable to save the audio messages on iPhone.

The Audio message will automatically be deleted after “2 minutes” when we listen. To stop this action, first, hit on the “Keep” located right under the received audio.
Next, go to the settings and choose the “Message” option.
Hit the “Expire” option and set it to the “Never” option:
Step 3: Copy the Audio Message
Go back to the “Message app” and long-press the audio that we play in the above step. It will show a list of choices. From that list, select the “Copy” option.
Step 4: Save the Audio Notes App
Open the Note application and long press on an empty area. Select the “Paste” option, it will save the audio that we have copied from the Message app:
Ensure that the appropriate name has been given to the note in which the message is saved, so, we can search for this audio message later when needed.
