  3. Enable and then Disable the Airplane mode.
  4. Change the MSID 
  5. Change the APN settings to default.
  6. Factory Reset the Device

Solution 1: Reboot the Device

This solution will fix the temporary bug and software glitches of the device and also the fastest way to resolve any issue of the device. To reboot the device, follow the below steps:

  • Step 1: hold the turn-off button of the device for 2 seconds. It will display the options on the device screen.
  • Step 2: from these options, tap on the “Reboot” option:

These steps will restart the device and if the issue is not resolved then jump to the next solution.

Solution 2: Change the Network mode from the Settings

To change the network mode from the settings, follow the below-mentioned steps: 

Step 1: Open the device settings and then select the “SIM cards and Mobile networks” option:

Step 2: After that, tap on the carrier service provider and then select the “Prefered Network Type” option:

Step 3: Set the Prefer network to the “LTE”:

These steps will change the network mode from the settings and might resolve the problem.

Solution 3: Enable and then Disable the Aeroplane Mode

To enable and disable the airplane mode, follow the given below steps:

Step 1: Swipe down on the home screen to open the control center of the device:

Step 2: Tap on the “Aeroplane icon”. It will enable Aeroplane mode and wait 30 seconds:

Step 3: Again tap on the “Aeroplane icon”. It will disable Aeroplane mode and will refresh the mobile network settings.

Solution 4: Change the MSID

To change the MSID on the Android device, follow the below stated steps: 

  • Step 1: Contact the Carrier service provider and ask them to give the new MSID.
  • Step 2: After getting the new MSID, dial the ##847446# on the phone.
  • Step 3: Then, go to the “mobilephone>OK>MSID.
  • Step 4: Enter the new MSID given by the carrier service provider.
  • Step 5: After completing the process, reboot the device.

These steps will change the MSID on the Android device.

Solution 5: Change the APN Settings to the Default

To change the network settings to the default:

Step 1: Navigate to the settings and then select the “SIM cards and Mobile network” option.

Step 2: Tap on the carrier service provider and then select the “Access Network Point” option:

Step 3: Tap on the “Reset” option. It will reset the APN settings to default:

Solution 6: Factory Reset the Device

To factory reset the device, follow the below-mentioned steps will be followed:

Note: Before doing these steps make a backup copy of the data because it will delete all the data from the device.

Step 1: Launch the device settings and then select the “About Phone” option:

Step 2: Tap on the Factory reset option and then select the “Erase All Data” option:

Step 3: Enter the device lock pin and then select the “OK” option to confirm the process.
