Solution 1: Disable the UPnP(Universal Plug-n-Play)

To disable the UPnP settings of the router, follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Open the browser on the PC/Laptop and then type the router’s IP address, such as 192.168.1.1.

Step 2: Enter the credentials of the account and then select the “OK” option. It will open the router settings.

Step 3: Under the router password settings, click on the “Password” option and then find the UPnP settings.

Step 4: Click on the “Disable” option in the UPnP settings and then click on the “Save” option.

Step 5: Restart the PS3 and the issue will be resolved.

These steps will disable the UPnP settings of the router.

Solution 2: Disable the Media Server Connection

To turn off the media server connection from the console settings, follow the below stated steps:

Step 1: Open the settings of the console and then select the “Network Setting” option.

Step 2: Find the “Media Server Connection” option and select it.

Step 3: Set the media server connection settings to “Disable” and then check whether the problem code still exists or not.

These steps will turn off the media server connection from the settings.

Solution 3: Change the DNS Settings

To change the DNS settings of the console, follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Launch the settings and choose the “Network settings” tab

Step 2: Click on the “Internet Connection settings” option. It will open the sub-menu. From that menu, select the “Custom” option.

Step 3: Select “Auto detect” if the connection is wired and select the “security” type if the connection is wireless.

Step 4: Set the IP address settings as mentioned below:

Primary: 208.67.222.222 / 129.250.35.250 

Secondary: 129.250.35.251 / 208.67.220.220 

Step 4: Press the “X” button on the controller to save the changes to the DNS settings.

Step 5: The error code 80710102 will be resolved.
